Hydro-Québec weather centreThe visitors of Festivent have many questions about the weather conditions favouring or not, flying balloons. Our meteorologist animates various outreach allowing festival-goers to better understand the different phenomena. We will deal with winds on the ground and in the air, clouds and their influences, precipitation and the various methods used by forecasters to predict how long it will be, more or less long term. Several equipments will also be on display so that people can see them and learn how it works. |
